Bill, We are open to alternative pavement designs. However, we do need to review the geotechnical report for the pavement design, the structural report that you mentioned and submission of the site engineering drawings prior to accepting an alternative pavement design. I believe that you mentioned that both the geotechnical and structural reports were created using the FAARFIELD program, which would not require a waiver from TxDOT or the FAA.
