Clay,
I spoke to Tom Hammons in our Traffic section of Engineering and Rob Guarnieri in Building Inspection about this project. This is your roadway and we are fine with whatever your requirements
are as for as the right turn lane and driveway connection to Marsh Lane are. Rob will be the engineer that will review the development plans for the project when they come in to us
for review.
Please feel free to contact myself or Rob at any time concerning this driveway connection. Rob’s telephone number is 972-466-3243.
Thanks,

Glenn,
Hope things are going well in Carrollton.
Below is an email I received about a development in Carrollton, but they have contacted us in regards to a permit for the driveway. Nancy and I looked at it and we agreed that the location
was good in concept, but that we needed a traffic study and a final configuration of the driveway (this version is not based on survey). We would also request that they extend the right
turn lane to provide additional stacking.
Before I respond to them I wanted to make sure that you had an opportunity to review it. Please let me know if you have any comments.
Thanks,
Clay Barnett, P.E.

Mr. Barnett:
Per your discussion with Robert Horton, please see attached the site plans depicting the curb cut along Marsh. I am attaching two plans, one which is overlaid on an aerial. This would
be a right in/right out curb cut south of the median break.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 817-336-2301.

Melissa,
We discussed that option as well. The existing median break cannot be utilized with out adding storage, which would shorten the stacking for the left turn lanes to Belt Line and cause
an unsafe condition.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Mr Barnett
It's not to discuss a new median break but utilize the existing.
Can I set up a meeting to discuss with you on Monday?

Melissa,
I am the City Engineer and would permit curb cuts in that location.
We discussed a property at that location last summer and we determined that the was not an opportunity to create another median break. Is this in regards to that issue?

Mr. Barnett:
I hope all is well.
I am working on a new development at the northwest corner of Beltline and Marsh. Though the development itself is in the city of Carrollton. I need to speak to someone about my curb
cut on Marsh. I understand that Marsh at this location is under Addison’s jurisdiction. Who should I speak to?
Please let me know at your earliest convenience.
Thanks
Melissa
