Box 660163 Dallas, TX 75266-9299 Dear Tim: Thank you for meeting with us recently to visit about the DART Trolley program in Addison. As we discussed, current revenue trends in the Town's hotel/motel receipts are requiring us to reevaluate programs and eliminate certain expenditures. We have made the determination that the Town can no longer financially support the DART Trolley program and request termination of this service in our community. I appreciate your willingness to work with the Town in instituting the trolley service. Unfortunately, "ridership" never approached the levels we had hoped despite our best efforts. Perhaps economic circumstances will enable DART and the Town of Addison to explore new rider service programs catering to smaller numbers ofpassengers in the future. Thank you again for all your assistance and support.
