Steve Chutchian To: Subject: Alberta: Alberta Robinson RE: MCIPII-lnterviews-2003.xIS Thank you for the opportunity to submit comments regarding certain engineering firms during the process: The Town of Addison prepared a short list of firms that we have had excellent effort and results in the design of various projects, as follows: Carter & Burgess Huitt-Zollars, Inc. Kimley Horn & Assoc. Teague NaIl & Perkins, Inc. HNTB Corporation 􀁇􀁵􀁴􀁩􀁥􀁲􀁲􀁥􀁾 Smouse &Wilmut & Associates Freese & Nichols, Inc. Gutierrez Smouse & Wilmut &Associates and Teague NaIl & Perkins, Inc. have both performed numerous water and wastewater related designs for the Town at a high level of performance. The remaining firms on this list have completed the design of several street, drainage and utility projects. The most recent improvements were performed at a very high level of performance by HNTB Corporation, Carter & Burgess, and Huitt-Zollars, Inc. Your consideration of these firms in the selection process will undoubtably benefit the selection process as a whole and the Town of Addison specifically. Thank you. Steve Chutchian, P.E. Unfortunately, after reviewing the specific dates for the interviews, and consulting with our staff, I have found that the interview dates are in direct conflict with newly developed responsibilities that I have incurred with the Town of Addison. As a result, I must regretfully remove myself from the consultant selection process for the County's Capital Improvement Program.
